Tender description

North Yorkshire County Council, through the Superfast North Yorkshire project, is conducting an Open Market Review (OMR) to understand the capability of premises within North Yorkshire to access Next Generation broadband. The market is being asked to provide information on 338,000 premises to determine if they can access Next Generation Access broadband. Once the OMR is completed, North Yorkshire County Council will determine whether a procurement exercise shall be undertaken. The public funding available for the procurement project, if it goes ahead, will be approximately £12.5m with the potential to add an additional £12.5m to take total funding to £25m.
