Tender description
National Apprenticeship Week is fast approaching and in addition to our online activities, the Employment & Skills Team will be hosting an Employer Breakfast on Thursday 6th February at Melksham Town Hall, kindly supported by Fiona Parsons, Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (AAN). This free to attend event is an opportunity for business across Wiltshire to better understand the range of reforms introduced over recent years through a number of carefully selected speakers; covering topics such as higher level apprenticeships, funding and employer incentives, off the job training, Levy transfer and promotion of the AAN which requires more employers and apprentices across Swindon and Wiltshire! The event is open to all, however we are encouraging small and medium businesses to attend and those Levy payers who are yet to maximise their funding, in addition to employers who are struggling to maintain a programme or retain apprentices. Following, there will be an opportunity to network and engage with local apprenticeship employers and training providers through a marketplace.
