The purpose of this PIN is to commence market engagement and request information to support the building of a business case for this requirement. LNER Digital is looking to add voice assistant technology and services to its customer communication channels. He purpose of this PIN is to commence market engagement and request information to support the building of a business case for this requirement. LNER Digital is looking to add voice assistant technology and services to its customer communication channels. We would like to leverage voice assistant technology provided by Google (Google assistant) and Amazon (Alexa) via website, smart phone and smart speakers in the home. We require a partner that can build and maintain voice applications for us to serve our UK rail transport customer base. LNER work with many technology partners to provide our complete customer experience and we would require this partner to have experience in pulling information from various third party sources and presenting to our customers in an engaging voice conversation. We would like our customers to be able to interact via voice assistants in the home or on their web browser and smartphones to do the following as examples: Register our customer with LNER and set their unique travel preferences. Synchronise preferences with the LNER website or other back-end customer database. Make enquiries on the various LNER services we offer to our customers. Get responses to FAQ’s about our services. Purchase travel tickets for train journeys or book/reserve services which may accompany a journey (e.g. platform assistance, seat reservation, food ordering, etc.) Initiate queries or transactions and hand over to LNER website or LNER mobile app for completion if required. LNER would require to consume this capability as a managed service contract and are initially looking to understand the landscape of partners that have demonstratable experience in developing and managing a service of this nature for LNER. If you are able to provide these services, please could you provide at a minimum the following information: Overview: Company name and web site. A brief overview of the company and the nature of the services that you can offer. Any relevant case studies you are able to share. Contact details, including location telephone and email address, main point of contact and position in company. Costings: Indicative costings for the new system/service. Explanation behind the structure of the costings for example, is the costing based on number of users, number of interactions, or subscription based.
