Tender description

This procurement will establish and maintain a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for supply of building materials and associated goods (including consumables). A DPS is a completely electronic process conducted in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The procurement is subject to a contract notice that has been published to the Official Journal of the European Union. To predominantly serve members and contracting bodies within Yorkshire and The Humber but may extend to other areas of the UK. The scope of this lot will include the supply and distribution of building materials and multi category products for installation. The range of products within the scope of this lot includes, but is not limited to, aggregates bagged, reinforcement, damp proof courses and membranes, cement and lime, ready mixed mortars, concrete and renders, aerated blocks, dense blocks, lightweight aggregate block, lintels, sundries, metal work, wall ties, joist hangers, roof lights, fixings, concrete common bricks, engineering bricks, facing bricks, insulation, ventilation, plaster, plaster boards, beads and mesh, tape, adhesives, sealants, wall boarding, canopies, PCC kerbs and flags, underground drainage, manholes and grates, channel drainage, geotextiles, flexible couplings, ducting, commercial paving, damp proofing, reinforcement, asphalt and repair material, bulk aggregates, timber including carcassing — regularised, rough sawn, CLS, battens, decking and sleepers, fencing materials, scaffold board, sheet materials — chipboard, plywood, MDF and Fibreboards, OSB, shelves, stair parts — bannister parts, claddings, internal doors and door sets, machined, PSE and MDF mouldings — PSE, skirtings, architraves, floorboards, claddings, window board, mouldings, door frames and casings, decorative flooring, fence panels and posts, recycled timber, site equipment and associated products. To predominantly serve members and contracting bodies within Yorkshire and The Humber but may extend to other areas of the UK. The scope of this lot will include the distribution of a broad and diverse range of plumbing and heating materials for installation. The range of the products within the scope of this lot includes, but is not limited to plumbing (inc. copper tube and fittings, iron tube and fittings, alkathene tube and fittings, pipe insulation, water treatments, flues, sanitary ware, shower cubicles and associated items, showers, taps, waste, traps, pan connectors, soil and overflow piping, rainwater goods, sink tops, mirrors, commercial and domestic boilers, radiators, space heaters, controls, filters, underfloor heating, fires, fire surrounds, care solutions screens, handrails, trays, toilet sets, shower trays, wet rooms, baths, basins, thermostatic mixing valves, room thermostats, filling loops, boiler spares, fire parts, appliance spares and associated products. The scope of this lot will include the distribution of a broad and diverse range of electrical goods for installation. The range of the products within the scope of this lot includes, but is not limited to, internal and external lighting, LED panels and strips, sockets, switching, cable, trunking, conduit, underfloor heating, smoke detection and alarms, extractor fans, consumer units, MCBs, RCBOs and RCDS, aerials and satellite, insulation tape, grommets, fuses, earthing clamps, junction boxes and connector strips, meter boxes, extension reels and leads, surveillance equipment and associated products. To predominantly serve members and contracting bodies within Yorkshire and The Humber but may extend to other areas of the UK. The scope of this lot will include the distribution of a broad and diverse range of roofing materials. The scope of this lot will include the supply of composite doors (including design, surveying and installation where required).
