This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is being used to inform interested economic operators that Fingal County Council intends to go to tender for the conservation restoration and construction of 4 no. timber-frame ornamental glasshouses at Ardgillan Demesne, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin works. These works will involve the restoration & manufacture of a large volume of bespoke joinery, restoration of original metalwork, supply & installation of glazing and all other associated groundworks and services. Fingal County Council is the Local Authority for the administrative county of Fingal located to the north of Dublin City. Local Authorities are the closest and most accessible form of Government to citizens with responsibility for delivery of a wide range of services in their local area. Further information is available at www.fingal.ie. This is a Prior Information Notice and not a call for competition or invitation to tender. A call for competition may be placed within the next twelve months. No tender documents are available at this stage. Details of individual procurements pursuant to this notice will be advertised in due course on www.etenders.gov.ie and in the Official Journal of the EU where required to do so. This notice aims to provide advance warning to the market that shorter timescales may apply at tender stage. Neither this document, nor any information set out herein, shall be regarded as a commitment or representation on the part of Fingal County Council to enter into any form of contractual arrangement express or implied.
