Assistive Medical Equipment Fully Managed Maintenance & Repair Service

Tender description

St Michael's House (SMH) is seeking to award a fully managed service contract consisting of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and ad hoc repair of assistive medical equipment and related items. The scope of this contract will comprise approx. 1500 individual items located in over 170 residential, day service and clinical settings within the greater Dublin area. Equipment types include beds, hoists, bathing systems, seating, walking and standing aids. The service will incorporate monitoring and responding to HPRA* alerts, recall notices and recommended actions as these arise. PPM will involve PAT testing of equipment, where appropriate. The fully managed service will incorporate asset management of all equipment including storage, transport, recycling and/or disposal of obsolete appliances. An asset management (tracking) system detailing asset ID number, make, model, serial number, date of manufacture and service history must be used to support the service. The service will accommodate new and replacement equipment acquired by SMH during the lifetime of the contract. * Health Products Regulatory Authority (Ireland)
