Tender description

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council (The Council) on behalf of the Northern Ireland Councils invites competent and experienced service providers to submit a tender for the provision of the transportation and care of animals identified in the course of investigations and related activities under the Welfare of Animals Act (NI) 2011, this tender is divided in to two lots: Lot A: The Care and Collection of Large Animals including Horses, Donkeys, Pet Goats, Llamas, Potbelly Pigs, etc.; Lot B: The Care and Collection of Small Animals including Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Reptiles, Birds, Fish, Ferrets, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Tortoises, etc. The overall regional delivery of services is divided on a subregional basis (see tender documents). This contract is on an ‘as required’ basis and does not guarantee any work for the appointed provider(s). When the contract is awarded the successful service provider (s) will deal directly with a nominated officer from each lead Council.
