Section 202 Housing Review Service Project

Tender description

he Council's Community Housing Department will make requests to the contractor using a request form advising of the need of a s202 review. A copy of the file will be sent to the contractor by secure email, where possible, or recorded delivery post. The contractor will be required to respond to the Council within two working days (Saturday, Sunday and public holidays are excluded) confirming receipt of the request and provide an estimated time scale for review response. Whilst the review is being carried out, the Council has a power to provide the applicant with accommodation (s.188(3) if appropriate. Once the review process has been completed, and the result communicated to the applicant, that power comes to an end.
