This is a contract award notice and as such the procurement process is complete. This exercise seeks to procure a supplier to research and establish a viable Scottish Aquaculture Supply Chain Cluster. These services will be required from June 2020 for a period of up to 2 years, unless terminated in accordance with the provisions of the Contract. The budget currently available to deliver both stages of the project is between 75,960 GBP and 84,400 GBP maximum (excluding VAT) The supplier will be required to undertake the formative and early operational phases of the Cluster only.They will be tasked with reaching out to aquaculture supply chain across Scotland to raise awareness of the new cluster, help define its scope and how it will create value and benefit for its membership; and how it will have longevity and continuing purpose. The aim is to secure a Scotland wide aquaculture supply chain cluster that has the capacity and capability to operate competitively and achieve success in the growing aquaculture industry, servicing both domestic and global markets. This could include creating opportunities, influencing and innovatively responding to national and global circumstances and dynamics (e.g. political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental), and long-term planning to enable sustained investment and growth.
