Electrical NEC3 Supervisor Services and Electrical Design Peer Review works associated with the conversion of the Scottish Event Complex (SEC) into a temporary hospital facility with approx. 1000 beds and associated ancillary accommodation. The scope of works is: NEC3 Electrical Supervisor: - Liaison with PSCPs and Sub-contractors to establish proposed installation methodology. - Inspection and approval of sample installation works. - Regular site inspections of works to ensure compliance with agreed approach to standard and quality of workmanship. - Execution of NEC3 supervisor duties for sign off and completion. - Review and witness testing of electrical commissioning. Electrical Design Peer Review: - Undertake high level peer review of Electrical Design. This is a directly awarded contract between the Authority on behalf of NHS Scotland to meet the additional demands of the Scottish Health and Social Care sector during the current Covid-19 pandemic. This award has been approved for reasons of extreme urgency brought about by events unforeseeable by the contracting authority in line with Regulation 33(1)(c) of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015
