Commercial Management for AMP7. Commercial management activities including (but not limited to): • supporting the estimating and target setting process; • agreeing commercial and cost targets with Contractors; • setting up purchase orders within relevant systems; • supporting, and where appropriate leading, commercial audits (e.g. Actual Cost); • providing contract advice; • managing the monthly payment process; • supporting project managers in the variation/compensation event process; • managing the final account/ project closure process; • approving contractor subcontract proposals; • supporting and where appropriate leading, the risk and value management process; • providing value-for-money assessments, benchmarking and supporting the utilisation of the Thames Water estimating system (‘EES’) • generating commercial reports; • providing general commercial support, as required.
