Provision of network support for the London Borough of Hounslow to provide support for the legacy network equipment and assist in reviewing, upgrading the legacy network equipment in the longer term with the objective of updating and providing modern small, medium and large branch office facilities on a par with those available at the main Hounslow House site, adding in to the fabric via SDWAN where it is advantageous to do so. The London Borough of Hounslow move to a new Civic Centre Building (Hounslow House) March 2019 which installed a Software Defined Access (SDA) from Cisco. Networking at the speed of software using DNA Centre Policy Autonomation and Analytics. Secure onboarding of users and devices across virtual networks. To allow LB Hounslow and partners to connect to the SDA fabric and all networks to run securely this has proved to be a success with many partners onboard using the technology. Which allows the council to keep up with security variabilities and patches and has worked well with flexible working for LBH staff and are partners. We are looking for a new support contract to provide support for the legacy network equipment and assist in reviewing, upgrading the legacy network equipment in the longer term with the objective of updating and providing modern small, medium and large branch office facilities on a par with those available at the main Hounslow House site, adding in to the fabric via SDWAN where it is advantageous to do so. The telephony and call centre solutions require replacement with a solution which will deliver on the Council’s digital and collaborative ambitions. Legacy firewalls require replacement with analysis of the configuration before migration to more modern and resilient solutions. The network support services set out in the specification are critical to the to the operations of the London Borough of Hounslow and the efficient provision of services to residents and business in the Borough.
