Tender description

Provision of a warehouse facility to consolidate fragmented consumable deliveries through a single distribution channel. — service provider will be required to provide different levels of consolidation service from purchase and holding inventory, low unit of measure service, and cross-docking of multiple deliveries; — service provider will be required to have the systems capability to purchase and bill the same product lines at different unit prices from multiple suppliers and to multiple NHS Trusts; — service provider will be required to receive and process both manual and fully automated orders and invoices from multiple NHS Trusts; — service provider will be required to provide a just-in-time delivery service (e.g. ability to provide rapid same day turnaround for specific high transaction accounts); — service provider will be required to provide suppliers with demand data by NHS Trust and product traceability where required; — service provider will be required to be neutral and strictly protect data confidentiality of all NHS Trusts and suppliers.
