South Cambridgeshire District Council - Housing Delivery Study for Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire

Tender description

Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council are seeking suitably qualified and experienced consultants to undertake research and analysis, and provide evidence, on housing delivery in Greater Cambridge to support the preparation of the Greater Cambridge Local Plan, including the Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment, and future updates to the Greater Cambridge housing trajectory. Greater Cambridge is defined as the two local planning authorities of Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council. The two local planning authorities adopted separate Local Plans in autumn 2018, and have now started the production of a Greater Cambridge Local Plan which, once adopted, will form the development plan for the two authorities up to 2040. An Issues & Options consultation for the Greater Cambridge Local Plan took place in January - February 2020. Detailed proposals are now invited from consultants. The contractor must demonstrate in writing that they have no conflicts of interest in respect of the work being sought that cannot be effectively mitigated.
