Tender description
DVSA have a requirement for the delivery a nationally recognised qualification, level 2 to all its inspection staff, circa 1 100 staff, on the safe inspection of hybrid and electric vehicles. The purpose of the training is to provide awareness of the systems and the dangers involved inherent with the design of such vehicles. The purpose of the PIN is to inform the market in advance of the requirement and to launch a request for information (RFI) in the form of a questionnaire and supporting documentation. The requirement is to deliver training to the required timelines and compatible with measures being put in place to combat the current Covid 19 Pandemic keeping staff and delegates safe, social distancing and restrictions on travel. Suppliers are being asked to provide comments and feedback on the specification, timelines and the pricing model and to advise what would form a bid/no bid decision for this requirement Following receipt of the information from suppliers in response to the RFI. DVSA will finalise the tender documentation and publish an OJEU contract notice.
