Repair and maintenance services of electrical building installations

Tender description

Onward are looking to appoint up to two suitably qualified, accredited contractors to undertake relevant periodic electrical inspections and associated works predominantly for the Merseyside and Greater Manchester regions. Electrical service and repairs of the following technical installations: EICR, PAT testing, Solar Photovoltaic, Solar Array, Electrical Systems, Lightning Conductors and Smoke alarm and CO Installation The contract. The contract will be for an initial period of 3 years with the option to extend by a two-year period followed by an additional optional one year period totaling up to 6 years maximum. The total anticipated value of the contract is GBP 8.2 m. Onward Group is one of the largest registered providers of social housing based solely in the North West of England with 35 000 homes across Merseyside, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Cheshire. This will allow Onward to deliver high standards of proactive electrical safety management to support Onward meeting their compliance responsibilities in accordance with landlord compliance. The contractor will be required to undertake inspection, testing and servicing of: electrical installation condition reports (EICR), portable appliance testing (PAT), solar photovoltaic, solar array, electrical systems, lightning conductors, smoke alarm and CO installation.
