The provision of a specialist retail support for Town Centres

COVID-19 represents the most dramatic public health emergency for this generation and is affecting every local high street and community across the UK. It is important that retailers are agile enough to adapt to the challenges ahead and are robust enough to survive this economic shock. The Council is looking to engage the services of an organisation to provide tailored practical support and training to businesses in Prescot and Huyton. The organisation should specialise in retail and leisure led business support within a High St setting and address the significant challenges that these sectors face on a local and national scale. The offer must also include a specialist and immediate tailored support package to businesses in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, as well as an on-going support package for businesses thereafter.
