External Repairs and Redecoration

Tender description

Thanet District Council is seeking to select and appoint a suitably qualified contractor to undertake external repairs and redecoration works to the residential housing stock in the Thanet District area. Early mobilisation/commencement of works is essential following contract award to the successful contractor. Works are anticipated to commence on 11th September 2020 The procurement process will be undertaken on the basis of an open tender. Evaluation will be on the basis of criteria and methodology as set out in the Invitation to Tender document. The form of contract will be JCT Measured Term Contract 2016 with Thanet District Council's Special Conditions. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Suppliers should in first instance register themselves on the Kent Business Portal, www.kentbusinessportal.org.uk, by following registration instructions. All procurement documents are available for suppliers to download from the Kent Business Portal and complete according to instructions contained. Any clarifications or questions must be submitted via the 'message' function of the Kent Business Portal by no later than 14.00 hrs 17th June 2020. Completed tender documents must be submitted electronically via the Kent Business Portal by no later than 1400 hrs 23rd June 2020.
