Tender description
LHC has established an Architect Design Services Framework (ADS) in partnership with Southwark Council. This framework allows public sector organizations across London, with a broader scope, to deliver new homes as well as landscape design, commercial, industrial, social care and other requirements. The objective was to develop a framework appointing architects of all sizes and experience who will be committed to working with Southwark and any other contracting authorities in London to create good quality public sector design for the 2020s. The framework will have low financial thresholds to make it more accessible for smaller providers and various sub-lots for low-value fee work. Master planning and feasibility. This lot will include full architects’ services for new, remodelled and refurbishment projects in the education, social care and non-housing community buildings sectors. This lot will be divided into 3 value bands: — GBP 0 — GBP 5 000 000, — GBP+ 5 000 000 — GBP 20 000 000, — GBP+ 10 000 000. Value bands relate to net construction value. Applicants can bid for a maximum of 1 value band. Therefore if you bid for Value Band 1 then you will be precluded to bid for Value Band 2 and Value Band 3. Equally, if you bid Value Band 2 then you will be precluded to bid for Value Band 1 and Value Band 3. This lot will include full architects’ services for new low, medium or high-rise housing projects. This lot will be divided into three value bands: — GBP 0 — GBP 5 000 000, — GBP+ 5 000 000 — GBP 20 000 000, — GBP+ 10 000 000. This lot will include full architects’ services for new, remodelled and refurbishment projects in the commercial and industrial buildings sectors. This lot will be divided into three value bands: — GBP 0 — GBP 5 000 000, — GBP+ 5 000 000 — GBP 20 000 000, — GBP+ 10 000 000. This lot will include full architects’ services for projects in conservation areas and buildings with a significant heritage content. This lot will not be defined by value bands. This lot will include full architects’ or landscape architects’ services for projects in the public realm. This lot will not be defined by value bands. Lot 7 is targeted at emerging, innovative practices that may be SME or micro organisations who can evidence new design and innovation. Both LHC and Southwark Council would like to encourage micro organisations to bid for this framework, therefore a maximum turnover cap of GBP 2 000 000 will be introduced for lot 7. Organisations with a turnover of greater than 2 000 000 will be precluded to bid for this lot; however, they can bid for all other lots.
