1463 - For the Provision of Boiler Maintenance and Gas Network Checks Contract at De Montfort University.

Tender description

The University requires single provider for the provision of a service contract for Planned Maintenance and Repairs to the assets as scheduled in Appendix A (Boilers and Gas fired water heaters). All Planned Preventative Maintenance work is to be carried in accordance with the B & ES document reference SFG20 and all other best practices. DMU require that Gas Network Checks and Tightness testing to be carried out every three years. The first checks to be carried out during the first year of the contract. The contractor will be required to undertake a full and comprehensive leak check of every gas joint on the gas network and produce a report and a schematic drawings per building, along with tightness testing of the whole system in-line with GasSafe recommendations.
