Tender description

The Council has, after careful consideration and by applying regulation 32(2)(c) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015, decided to enter into an interim contact with the current contractor. In that the Council intends to ensure that the vulnerable residents in need of the services will continue to receive it throughout the COVID-19 pandemic including a period where the COVID-19 pandemic issues persist. The Council has published a Voluntary Ex-Ante Transparency Notice and intends to enter into an interim contract in June 2020 for a period of one year commencing on 25th June 2020 expiring on 24th June 2021. It is the Council's intention to start a new procurement process as soon as the full impact of COVID-19 is known to the Council enabling it to procure services as required at that time.
