Tender description

The small works framework will be a multi-supplier framework agreement. ORE Catapult has undertaken an assessment of their requirements and has deemed this framework agreement to be suitable for division into the following six (6) lots: • Lot 1: Small Construction Works, • Lot 2: Plumbing and Heating, • Lot 3: Electrical, • Lot 4: Plastering, • Lot 5: Painting and Decorating, • Lot 6: Joinery. Tenderers are therefore invited to submit a proposal for any one, combination of or all lots. No guarantee, warranty or assurance can be given in relation to the total volume or value of any services required under this framework agreement. The contractor(s) shall not, under any circumstances, be entitled to payment, compensation, reimbursement of loss or expense, damages or other financial benefit whatsoever on the grounds that the services provided or acquired differs from or is greater or less than envisaged in this ITT or as a result of anything contained within this ITT. ORE Catapult require certified and experienced contractors to provide small commercial construction services to the highest standard and quality and carried out in a friendly and professional manner with the minimum of disruption to staff and ORE Catapult property. Small construction works required may include, but shall not be limited to, the following: • general refurbishment of individual rooms i.e. paintwork, carpets/carpet tiles; • general brickwork and repairs i.e. repairs following damage/deterioration; • brickwork alterations and additions i.e. new walls, core drilling, etc.; • design work to facilitate quotes; • control room and office fit outs for fixed benches and installation; • all forms of ironmongery design and installations; • installation of new glazing; • outbuildings and container fit outs/refurbishments; • repair, replacement or install of all types of fencing and gates; • roof and building cladding repairs; • supply and install of site signage and line painting; and • tarmac and concrete surfacing. ORE Catapult require certified and experienced plumbing and heating contractors to provide commercial plumbing and heating services to the highest standard and quality and carried out in a friendly and professional manner with the minimum of disruption to staff and ORE Catapult property. Plumbing services required may include, but shall not be limited to, the following: • pipe work insulation and frost protection, • drains/Sinks cleared, • waste disposal units, • full installations, • outside taps, • burst pipes/leaks, • drainage and blockage, and • emergency 24/7 call-out service. Heating services required may include, but shall not be limited to, the following: • heating repairs to all leading makes of boilers and gas appliances; • gas pressure testing and safety checks; • system extension and upgrading; • flushing and treating systems; • boiler upgrades and renewals; • fault diagnostics and repairs; • thermostatic radiator valves; • servicing and maintenance; and • full installations. ORE Catapult require certified and experienced electrical contractors to provide commercial electrical services to the highest standard and quality and carried out in a friendly and professional manner with the minimum of disruption to staff and ORE Catapult property. Electrical services required may include, but shall not be limited to, the following: • installation maintenance, • portable appliance testing (PAT); • lighting and power, • inspection and testing, • general power installations, • emergency lighting systems and testing, • rewiring, • installation testing, • three phase supplies, and • emergency 24/7 call-out service. ORE Catapult require certified and experienced plastering contractors to provide commercial plastering services to the highest standard and quality and carried out in a friendly and professional manner with the minimum of disruption to staff and ORE Catapult property. Plastering services required may include, but shall not be limited to, the following: • plastering of interior walls and ceilings; • plastering of external walls; • repairs to internal walls/ceilings; • repairs to internal/external walls; and • plaster boarding. ORE Catapult require experienced painting and decorating contractors to provide commercial services to the highest standard and quality and carried out in a friendly and professional manner with the minimum of disruption to staff and ORE Catapult property. Painting and decorating services required may include, but shall not be limited to, the following: • painting/decorating of internal/external walls; • painting of ceilings; • painting of woodwork; and • painting of metalwork. ORE Catapult require certified and experienced joinery contractors to provide commercial joinery services to the highest standard and quality and carried out in a friendly and professional manner with the minimum of disruption to staff and ORE Catapult property. Joinery services required may include, but shall not be limited to, the following: • doors and partitions, • repairs and maintenance, • installation of stud walls, and • kitchen/bench replacement or installation.
