Please note that the information related to this procurement has been deemed official sensitive and as such organisations wishing to take part will have to sign and be bound by a Confidentiality Disclosure Agreement (CDA). The works will involve reconfiguring and replacing the existing steam and condensate distribution systems in the main building wings (6 No). A key element of this task is that existing pipe (redundant and live) will need to be removed and disposed of. As much of this pipework is circa 1940’s, it is highly likely to contain asbestos debris throughout. Each wing will be a phase of work approximately 10 to 16 weeks and the project will be managed using the JCT constructing excellence collaborative contract with risk allocation.
