A research service - DCMS is looking for a service provider to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the subsea fibre optic cables sector as it relates to the UK. The scope of the study is primarily focused on but not limited to the following: a)The contribution of subsea fibre optic cables to the UK economy, including the UK economy's reliance on subsea cables; b)The market, infrastructure and regulatory conditions impacting investment in subsea cables in the UK, including how attractive a destination the UK is considered for new subsea cables; c)The future of the subsea fibre optic cables maintenance/repair market as it relates to the UK. The information and analysis obtained through the study is intended to be used to inform prospective future UK Government interventions in this area.
