The Main Evaluation of the Global Challenges Research Fund

Tender description

The procured service is the delivery of the Main Stage evaluation of the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF). In scope is only Stage 1 and Stage 2, as set out in the GCRF Foundation Stage report. These stages address the following research questions: is GCRF relevant, fair, well targeted and well managed?; how are GCRF's signature investments working, and what have they achieved?; what results has GCRF produced or contributed to, and what has worked in terms of transforming outputs to outcomes?; and has GCRF made a difference to UK's ability to deliver cutting-edge research on global challenges for development? Stage 3, which addresses the question "Has GCRF made a difference to the sustainable and inclusive prosperity of people in developing countries? " is not in the scope.
