Tender description

TfL is looking to identify suppliers with the below capabilities. Services to coat materials to standard DIN EN ISO 19598 – Fe//Zn10//Cn//Tx As we are preparing to carrying out the overhaul of the shoe gear (third rail) of S-Stock Fleet of trains in house, we need to find a company that can provide coating solution for this standard. The original coating DIN EN ISO 19598 – Fe//ZnNi8//Cn//Tx is no longer in use due to the presence of chromate 6 regulation. This will be a for a variety of materials that are related to the S-Stock Shoegear materials. To note; this is not a commitment nor commencement of any tender exercise and is being undertaken to understand the capacity and capability of the market at this time.
