Construction work for school buildings

Tender description

The Generations Educational Trust wishes to enter into a single-supplier framework agreement with a contractor to deliver the design and off-site construction of energy efficient school blocks. This framework agreement (based upon JCT Design and Build 2011) is intended to establish a single supplier to support the Trust's future expansion requirements to both its existing and future, schools (which may vary across phases of education from nursery to sixth form provision). The maximum value across the framework is intended to ensure appropriate flexibility and the build size per project is expected to vary from single classroom blocks to whole new school projects, including classrooms, exercise and play spaces. The new buildings will need to be energy efficient and be delivered within constrained deadlines, with minimal disruption to the relevant school.
