Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd (DSRL) is the site licence company responsible for the clean-up and demolition of Britain’s former centre of fast reactor research and development and is located in the far north of Scotland. This PIN is to announce a future competitive tender exercise for the maintenance and support of radiometric counting equipment for the Dounreay Site. DSRL are seeking an indication of the likely level of interest in a future tender opportunity and this will inform the assessment of available options. For the avoidance of doubt, this stage of the project is not part of a formal procurement process. DSRL has a requirement for the services of a suitably qualified company to provide maintenance and support of radiometric counting equipment. The radiometric counting equipment (both lab-based instrumentation and plant based, non-destructive assay instrumentation) has been sourced largely from Mirion Technologies (Canberra UK) Ltd. The scope of service will include the following activities: — planned servicing, support, software support, replacement parts and guaranteed breakdown response time for the Non-Destructive Assay (NDA) instruments and radiological analytical instruments, — additional servicing, support, software support, replacement parts and call outs for Non-Destructive Assay (NDA) instruments and radiological analytical instruments.
