Bus notices are both a legal and TfL requirement to ensure accurate, presentable and consistent signage and notices across the fleet of over 9 000 buses. The requirement has evolved to encompass a wider array of bus notice labels. In addition to internal notices, external notices are also required to be fitted on the buses. The requirement is for a professional livery company to manage the process of printing and dispatching notice labels to bus companies across London. Under the existing system, bus operating companies and manufacturers order notices through an online system created and maintained by the successful bidder. Once the order is logged, the bus notices are dispatched. The service provider will also be responsible for checking the notices on the buses to ensure there are no missing notices and also any pre-defined Campaigns to fit notices in a pre-determined timeframe. The work will be carried out between 7 p.m.- 5 a.m.
