Framework agreement for the provision of landscaping, groundworks and related supplies and services for sites requiring assistance to maintain and improve their external grounds. Sites that the Council are arranging services for are mainly schools of all types e.g. primary, secondary, academies etc. but also include children’s centres, libraries, Council buildings and Parish and District owned sites including parks as well as other types of sites including police and fire stations. Design, supply and installation of external play equipment • metal and timber play equipment • metal and timber trim trail equipment • outdoor gym equipment for various ages • skate parks and BMX/bike tracks • supply of play equipment spare parts • play equipment repairs • multi-use games areas (MUGA’s) • all equipment to conform to BS EN 1176. Design and Installation of Playground Markings • thermo-plastic • permanent marking fluid • artificial grass markings. Design, supply and installation of outdoor shelters and structures • timber and metal shelters • pergolas and gazebos • canopies • cabins • play huts and houses • sheds. Design, supply and installation of safety surfacing • grass mats • wet-pour • bonded rubber mulch • loose rubber mulch • play bark • SUDS bond • wet-pour and bonded rubber mulch repairs • all safety surfacing to conform to BS EN 1177. Design, supply and installation of artificial grass • supply and install for play and amenity • install artificial grass safety surface systems • repairs to artificial grass. Design, supply and installation of various hard surfacing, ranging from repair work, over-laying and full construction of paths and playgrounds from surfacing such as: • tarmac • block paving • resin bound and bonded gravels • SUDS bond • self-binding stone • slabs • ground reinforcement grids. Line marking for roads, car-parks and sports • over-marking existing lines + measure and marking of new lines for; car-parks, double yellow lines, zebra crossing markings + other road markings, • tarmac colour coating, • markings for variety of sports onto various hard surfacing, including; tarmac, artificial grass, hardcourt and polymeric surfaces. Supply and installation of all types of fencing including; • metal weldmesh security fencing, • metal and timber palisade fencing, • chain-link, • bow topped fencing, • grill and rebound fencing for multi use games area’s (MUGA’S) • timber close board, • post and rail, • chestnut pale fencing, • stock fencing, • concrete posts and gravel boards. Design, supply and install gate automation • new gate systems – hinged and sliding • automation of existing gates • Intercom systems • gate safety systems • servicing and maintenance. Design, supply and install of handrails + barriers • single and dual height rails for DDA access on stairs and ramps • safety barriers • powder coating. All security fencing to comply to BS EN 1722. Design, supply and installation of canopies in a range of materials and styles such as: • free standing, • canter-levered, • building mounted, • sail shades, • umbrellas • various materials such as steel, aluminium, timber, fibre-glass. Supply + supply and install street furniture, including: • litter bins, • seating, • benches, • picnic tables, • bollards, • external lighting. Supply + install cycle shelters in range of styles and materials Supply and install + supply only of signage in range of styles and materials Supply of sports equipment: • full range of sports equipment, including • football posts and sockets, netball posts, tennis nets, basketball hoops, cricket stumps etc. General soft landscaping works to include: • design and construction of shrub boarders, • planting schemes, • tree planting, • turfing, • soil and seeding, • clearance of over-grown vegetation, • hedge cutting • general grounds maintenance, • chemical weed control Tree works; including • high level rope work and use of cherry pickers and cranes, • felling, • pollarding, • dead wooding, • crown lifting, • stump grinding • emergency response tree work. Plant supplies: supply variety of: • trees • shrubs and plants. Horticultural supplies: supply and deliver wide range of horticultural supplies including: • bark, • composts, • tree stakes and ties, • irrigation systems etc. Soil suppliers • supply and deliver range of grades of soil for various applications. Design and construction of natural turf sports pitches such as: • football, • rugby, • tennis. • including pitch rejuvenation • design and installation of drainage schemes General maintenance to include: • scarifying, • selective weed control, • spiking, • over-seeding, • rolling, • verti-draining, • levelling. Design and construction of various hard landscaping and groundwork projects, to include: • raised planters in various materials, • retaining walls in various materials, • trenching and ducting works, • pond construction, • log walling, • stone paths, • outbuilding/shed foundations, • preparation work for installation of wet-pour surfacing, • installation of street furniture including bins, • brick laying • gabion walls • timber decking. Design and installation of drainage and sewer schemes/plans + maintenance • installation of full drainage systems • drain surveys and scans, • cleaning/jet washing + repairs. Design and installation of anti-slip flooring systems: • ranging from pre-formed treads and panels to resin applications, all suitable to be installed on a range of materials for a variety of purposes. Joinery work such as: • construction of bespoke raised planters, • installation of decking, • bespoke pergolas • repairs for example. External cleaning, including: • jet washing of various hard and soft surfacing, • cleaning of wet-pour, • graffiti removal, • playground cleaning, • road sweeping, • emergency response work. Aggregates suppliers; supply and deliver wide range of aggregates including: • sands, • ballast, • MOT Type 1 and 3 stone, • granite to dust, self-binding stone, • decorative stone, • boulders etc. Design, supply and installation of various styles of artificial grass for sport, including: • football, • rugby, • hockey, • cricket, • tennis, • netball, • multi-use sport, • in-laying of lines. Artificial grass repairs for various styles, including: • cricket wicket repairs, • seam repairs, • general patching. Specialist cleaning of artificial grass, including: • decompaction, • revival, • full rejuvenation. Line marking: • installation of sports markings to artificial grass surfacing. Design and Construction of multi-use games areas (MUGA’s) • construction of dynamic and engineered bases, • surfacing for various sports, • fencing, • floodlighting. Coordination and delivery of an entire project which is complex and has multiple requirements across lots 1-8
