Capital Theatres King’s Limited seek to procure the services of a contractor under a traditional two stage procurement process to support the detailed design and the transformational refurbishment (RIBA Plan of Work 2013 stages 4 to 6) of the Listed King’s Theatre in Edinburgh. Capital Theatres King’s Limited (CTKL) seek to procure the services of a contractor under a traditional two stage procurement process to support the detailed design and the transformational refurbishment (RIBA Plan of Work 2013 stages 4 to 6) of the Listed King’s Theatre in Edinburgh as further described in the Procurement Information Document (PID) and notes below: The contractor will become and an integral member the project team reporting directly CTKL and the project manager whilst supporting the design team comprising the separately appointed team members consisting mechanical, electrical and public health services engineers, specialist theatre consultant, civil and structural engineer, acoustician and heritage interpretation designer. The contractor is required to demonstrate experience and expertise in the delivery of similar projects notably comprising the following key project characteristics: — two stage traditional procurement, — complex refurbishment, — listed premises, — heritage status and design integration, — working in a busy city centre location.
