The supply and support of Veritas Netbackup Software and Hardware

Tender description

It is proposed that the Contract will include (non-exhaustive list – high level scope): • The supply and management of licences and associated maintenance support for ESB's Veritas NetBackup environment which is running on x86 servers, physical and virtual machines, on premise, in Remote offices or in Microsoft’s Azure Cloud. • Netbackup Software Licences (Capacity and NEVC) o Support and Maintenance of New & existing Licences • Netbackup Hardware Appliances o Support and Maintenance of New & existing Appliances • Netbackup Compatible ATL (LTO 7 Drives) ESB currently has approximately 1000+ clients protected by NetBackup, which is likely to increase over the contract period. ESB will indicate the volume ranges in the RFT. ESB’s licence footprint contains a mix of Capacity (240TB) and NEVC (88 Sockets). The current environment is a mix of NetBackup 5230’s and 5240’s with 2 Oracle StorageTek SL150’s. Vendors must indicate that they are a registered Veritas Gold Partner or higher for the supply and support of NetBackup.
