Medway Council is looking for an amazing organisation to deliver Theatre31, a GBP 1 million Arts Council England funded, groundbreaking programme that aims to engage over 2 000 young people in theatre and theatre making. One of only five Arts Council England’s Youth Performance partnerships across the country, Theatre31 is a fantastic opportunity that will mean working across Medway and Sheppey placing authentic youth leadership at the heart of all delivery. On behalf of Medway and Sheppey Local Cultural Education Partnerships, and after a year-long mobilisation phase, we are now ready to progress to delivery, from June 2020 to December 2022. So, we are looking for an excellent organisation to deliver excellent programme management working alongside our Project Board, Steering Group and Youth Panels, all made up of committed and motivated local representatives and stakeholders. Who will this role suit? We are looking for an organisation (or consortium of individuals) that are specialists in delivering high profile, high quality, large-scale theatre and youth programmes. You will have the organisational skills and resources to deliver to an agreed delivery plan and work to key milestones and outcomes. You will be experienced in complex project management, leading and working in strong partnerships, excellent in communication, fundraising, alongside practical, operational and delivery skills. Best practice in safeguarding and child protection is essential, as is experience of managing large-scale budgets and working with external funding bodies and evaluators. Key Details You will be the lead deliverer of the Theatre31 programme, will be self-sufficient with business support and office space. You will be expected to cover and plan for your own PAYE and NI, office costs and consumables.
