Tender description

The Holborn Enabling Works project comprises land clearance, remediation, bulk earthworks and maritime works specifically to construct a level development platform for subsequent development by a third party. The following elements are envisaged: Bulk excavations Vegetation clearance Fly tipping / asbestos clearance 2 / 3 Maritime works incorporating the demolition of redundant riverside structures and the construction of new sheet pile and combi pile river walls Temporary Works (e.g. cofferdam) Permanent Works to block off a disused graving dock (e.g. concrete retaining structure) Dock inspection & repair Treatment of in-situ silts Dock infilling with as-dug material from elsewhere on site Sealing Remediation Ground obstruction removal In-situ treatment and off site disposal of contaminated soils Capping / hoarding Utility isolations The works will be subject to the Client obtaining the necessary permissions and consents and are envisaged to be procured during late Summer / Autumn 2020
