By commissioning this tender, The Education and Training Foundation, would like to work with a high achieving organisation that can further develop and deliver an outstanding programme that supports middle leaders to develop and enhance their skills so that they can lead their departments, support their teachers therefore giving the learners an outstanding teaching and learning experience in their FE setting. The ETF would like to give middle leaders the opportunity to develop their skills, becoming effective and pro-active middle managers that are able to make decisions to support their team and the learners. As well as developing professionally within their current role, the participants may consider this course as the starting point for preparing for more senior roles in the future, raising their aspirations to work and move along the leadership pipeline. The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) is seeking a tenderer to review, develop and deliver its previous middle manager’s programme in order to provide a national programme that continues to support the development of middle managers to become more dynamic and effective in their job role. It is anticipated the programme will support and develop participants in their current roles and give them the knowledge, understanding, tools and techniques to enhance their day to day role, personal effectiveness and to lead their team more effectively. This in turn will enhance success in teaching, learning and student experience and will provide participants with the skills and abilities to enable progression, providing organisations with a talent pool for sustainability.
