Tender description

The purpose of this prior information notice is to request expressions of interest from the market to participate in a pre-market engagement exercise for the delivery of a sustainability audit on Belfast City Council i.e. a comprehensive review of environmental sustainability throughout the Council. The market engagement exercise will take the form of an initial questionnaire and will help inform the Council of the best procurement strategy for the provision of the sustainability audit i.e. considerations for specification; type of approach e.g. phased; T&C’s; risks; and pricing. There may also be a requirement to hold informal engagement sessions with some or all interested parties. Belfast City Council has a requirement for an experienced consultant to undertake a comprehensive review of environmental sustainability throughout the Council. The review will include a baseline of existing policies and projects and provide recommendations for improvement on every aspect of mainstreaming the theme. The review will be a comprehensive assessment undertaken throughout every Department within the Council and will examine the full environmental impact of all policies and projects.
