Tier 3 Weight Management Services for West Essex - Contract Awarded

Tender description

West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group sought to establish a single provider contract for the provision of Tier 3 Weight Management Services. This service provides the link between Tier 1 and 2 environmental and population wide services and lifestyle interventions and Tier 4 Specialist Bariatric Surgical Services. Access to Tier 4 is dependent on completion of the Tier 3 service programme. The service seeks to provide a safe and effective high-quality weight management service which supports patients to achieve clinically significant weight loss through safe and sustainable means. The service will be delivered in a multi-disciplinary approach to addressing behavioural, psychological and clinical challenges faced by obese individuals.
