Taxi & Small Bus Services - Further Competition (2)

Tender description

The Authority is seeking Providers to supply & deliver transport services for Education and Social Care Services with suitably qualified operators of Private Hire, Hackney Carriage and PSV/PCV vehicles. The Authority will be re tendering 50 standalone routes, 4 Call off/Add Hoc (Bransholme Area, North Hull Area, East Hull Area & West Hull Area), and 13 lots (containing grouped routes). The requirements cover the transporting of: • Pupils and passenger assistants (where applicable) to schools/colleges and either back home again, or to other designated points. • Social care clients, both adults and children to various locations. The routes and destinations for this transport provision may be within the boundaries of Hull but may also be to and from locations outside of the Authority’s geographical boundaries. The Authority proposes to enter into Contract(s) for a period of 1 - 4 years dependant on the category of vehicle with the successful Tenderer(s) (Service Provider), with options to extend for up to 12 months in duration. Such extension will be at the discretion of the Authority and subject to satisfactory performance and monitoring.
