Soft Market Research – March 2020 The supply of Temporary Agency Workers

The Council is looking to procure a contract that can deliver the diverse temporary agency requirements we have. We would also like to explore the possibility of using this contract to fill some of our ‘hard to fill’ roles on a permanent basis, where our own recruitment has not proven successful. It is the ambition of the Council to explore models/arrangements in the market to meet our needs and those of Gloucester City Council. We have no preference as to the arrangement of the future contract and are open to considering alternatives or similar solutions. We also recognise that we may need to procure more than one contract to meet our diverse requirements and therefore are open to specialist agencies. This soft market research exercise will help to inform us of: • The market’s ability to deliver Gloucestershire County Council and Gloucester City Council’s requirements; • How attractive is this opportunity to work with the both Councils should investment be needed by a supplier(s); • The potential level of interest in bidding for this contract.
