Tender description

Queen's seeks to appoint a clinical research organisation (CRO) to provide services in respect of managing a Phase I Clinical Trial sponsored by Polyphor AG (the Sponsor). CRO services are required to conduct a Phase I study in Healthy Volunteers. The trial is operating under the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) which is Europe's largest public-private initiative aiming to speed up the development of better and safer medicines for patients (http://www.imi.europa.eu/). Applications are invited from firms capable of managing Phase I Clinical Trials and all associated services. The appointed CRO will be responsible for clinical services, site management, monitoring, (unblinded) pharmacy, data management, study recruitment, clinical project management, statistics and medical writing (Clinical Study report). A central safety laboratory will be provided by the CRO.
