Tender description

The main aims of this countywide offenders service are to provide housing related support services for high and medium level risk offenders supervised by the National Probation Service (NPS) to access suitable accommodation, reduce the risk of re-offending, to avoid eviction and homelessness and to reduce the need for more intensive support. The main aims of the substance misuse service details the requirements for a Harrogate-based supported housing service for those accessing adult substance misuse services, who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in North Yorkshire. The service is intended to provide short-term accommodation and support for people who have achieved some progress in addressing their substance misuse and require a stable place to live in order to support long-term recovery. This contract falls under Section 7 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 – Social and other specific services (light touch regime). The procurement process will follow the principles of an OJEU Open process in accordance with regulation 27 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The procurement is divided into 3 lots. Lot 1 (Offenders 60 units) and Lot 3 (substance Misuse has a whole life term of 4 years (48 months). Lot 2 (Offenders 10 units) has a whole life term of 1 year (12 months).
