This is a training package offer for science for Enfield primary and secondary schools for the academic year 2020-21 with a view to training commencing in September 2020 Primary science offer There are approximately 70 primary schools in Enfield, of which 65 buy back into the primary CPD package. Science Leader Network Meeting - half day Half termly - 6 per year delivered in Enfield Annual whole day science Conference with three expert speakers plus lunchtime market place Once per year in the autumn term - a venue in Enfield /Haringey Range of CPD courses aimed at primary science: working scientifically, progression in science, new to leading science Choice of two Professional development course across the academic year. Venues in Enfield /Haringey STEM ambassador's breakfast network event Once a year - one in Enfield and one in Haringey? Primary schools who buy into the Enfield CPD buy back will be able to access all of the above which would be booked through the Enfield booking system Secondary Science There are 20 Enfield Secondary Schools Training/CPD When and where? Heads of Science Meeting - half day termly - 3 per year delivered in Enfield including 1 delivered at a London HEI. Post holder meetings (KS3 / KS4/KS5) termly - 3 per year delivered in Enfield including 1 delivered at a London HEI. Biology Network Meeting (GCSE and A level) - half day termly - 3 per year delivered in Haringey/ Enfield Chemistry Network Meeting (GCSE and A level) - half day termly - 3 per year delivered in Haringey/ Enfield Physics Network Meeting (GCSE and A level) - half day termly - 3 per year delivered in Haringey/ Enfield Science Technicians network - half day termly - 3 per year delivered in Haringey/ Enfield including a spring conference for technicians Range of CPD courses aimed at secondary science e.g. Maths in Science and Progression and pedagogy for the linear curriculum.
