Replace oak patio door and glazing at the Civic Centre, Uxbridge

Tender description

The London Borough of Hillingdon (LBofH) is seeking a contractor for the Replace the Oak Patio patio door and glazing to an office on the third floor of the Civic Centre. NB - The building is a listed building, so the new door must match the existing as far as is practicable. SOR - Carry out site visit to confirm requirement, location of windows and dimensions - All dimensions/measurement are the tenderers own risk - Template existing door, glazing bars, muntins and rails as required - Off-site Manufacture of (English) oak door, similar to existing - Polish door, frame and treat with Dulux Weathershield or similar for best match - Remove existing door and hang new door on solid brass hinges, with brass lock and - Provide new lock and brass lever handles - Dispose of existing doors, frame and door furniture - Glazing of the door to be included - Dispose of all waste - All installation works to be undertaken on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays or at night. - All site visits to be arranged beforehand - No site visits to be undertaken without PM present - RAMS to be shared before works commence - Appropriate PPE to be worn Prospective contractors should carry out a site visit before quoting.
