MUGA removal and reinstatement

Tender description

Scope for MUGA Replacement. The works comprise the removal and disposal of the existing MUGA, existing adjacent tennis court and existing adjacent exercise equipment. Install new equivalent MUGA on old tennis court footprint. Make good area from which MUGA and exercise equipment has been removed. Prepare ground for new MUGA by breaking out and removing existing tarmac and excavating to 450mm deep past tree roots and dispose of spoil off site. Supply and install vertical Root Protection Barrier to side adjacent to trees. Supply and lay Terram Geotextile and 430mm Type 1 Stone compacted ready for surfacing. Supply and lay AC20 binder course laid to level required to incorporate final MUGA surface. Final level to be same as surrounding level and old MUGA level. Install equivalent MUGA with the same, as a minimum, facilities as presently. Install with enhanced height of fencing on the factory side to reduce the risk of balls etc landing in the business premises. Site visit can be accommodated upon request.
