Tender description

To ensure our legal obligations are met across all our sites for periodic examination and inspection of various types of equipment and assets for defects, including lifting equipment, personnel safety equipment, pressure systems, local exhaust ventilation, dilution ventilation systems (gas rooms), passenger lifts and fuel and chemical tanks. We also intend to include some safety critical items which have not previously been included and are not a legal requirement, but are ‘best practice’ to examine and inspect regularly; like digesters, electric gates, racking and roller doors. There may also be occasions where written schemes of examinations will require updating or writing for new plant. We intend to award a single supplier framework to a competent, experienced and technically proficient supplier capable of completing all of our examination and inspection requirements, including all additional equipment we may look to introduce to the future scope of requirements throughout the duration of the contract.
