PHE- Corporate - Domestic Water Modifications

Tender description

For modification of the existing hot and cold water services at Public Health England (PHE). All cold water outlets within the building are currently tank fed. The project aims to separate the category 4 water outlets from the general lower risk outlets. In general the fume cupboards are classed as a category 4 risk. This will require the installation of an RPZ valve to serve the cold water outlets for a category 4 risk. A new cold feed will be provided from the main riser to serve all other cold outlets. General cold water shall be tank fed and CAT 4 cold water shall be mains fed. A new hot water flow and return will be installed and will be extended from the existing riser position to serve all existing hot water outlets generally as defined on the tender drawings. Allow to include for all the builders work associated with the mechanical services contract and detailed in this specification and as shown on the drawings.
