The Contracting Authority is looking to appoint a single economic operator to provide de-leading and deep cleaning services within the indoor firing ranges on their Estate. De-leading and recycling This involves the de-leading of the bullet traps on the various reclining and vertical ranges, removal and bagging of spent rounds, bullets and any necessary repairs to the bullet traps. deep cleaning the regular service consists of 6 monthly major deep cleaning of the ranges, ancillary areas and all ventilation ductwork. The regular service also includes the removal of sludge from a water filtration plant sump 3 times per annum. The contractor must make provision for receiving calls regarding the provision of a 24-7-365 reactive call-out service to cater for ad-hoc requests for additional maintenance outside the Regular Service programme. This contract will be awarded using the mean narrow average, price scoring mechanism — refer to the Instructions to Tender document provided.
