Tender description

The purpose of this procurement exercise is to establish a framework agreement with several Service Providers to supply language support Services to Clients who speak, communicate or read languages other than English, or who need to communicate in English in non-standard ways e.g. via audio media, either individually or in groups. The framework will enable MK Language Services to call upon Service Providers listed to support interpreter and translation service demands booked through MK Language Services. Please note as this a framework agreement there are no volume guarantees. The Services sought under this framework agreement will be split into the following four lots, delivered through a subcontracting arrangement via MK Language Service: Lot 1 - Face to Face Interpretation Services - Multiple Service Providers Lot 2 - Sensory Impairment Interpretation and Translation Services, (including but not limited to British sign language, lip speaking, speech-to-text operators, Braille transcription and audio transcription.) - Multiple Service Providers Lot 3 - Translation Services (including hard copy and electronic translation services) - single Service Provider Lot 4 - All, this Lot combines all of the elements under Lot 1, 2 and 3 and is only to be utilised when an assignment requires combination of services available under Lot 1, 2 and 3. - Multiple Service Providers All information is available on the LGSS e-tendering portal ProContract - https://www.lgssprocurementportal.co.uk/
