Arden and GEM CSU acting on behalf of NHS England will be inviting suitably qualified organisations to express interest in providing: Theme 1: — supply of Troponin T high sensitive assay products to participating NHS trusts and providers, — provision of free training and support, — data provision on uptake. Troponin T-hs testing to aid the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (MI) therefore enable non-ST-segment elevation Myocardial Infarction (MI) to be ruled out within four hours of presentation; Theme 2: a pregnancy and parenting app, supporting families from conception to age 6 months with practical advice to improve outcomes for the baby. Providing data and training to participating Trusts at a capped cost; Theme 3: an APP and website that connects AMHP's with Section 12 doctors to make Mental Health Act assessments quicker and easier to organise; Theme 4: an untethered Patient Held Record (PHR) which enables the user to contribute and to give access to information to others. The Troponin T-hs (TnT-hs) test is to be used to aid the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (MI). The high sensitive assays are required to detect lower levels of troponin in the blood earlier than the standard assays leading to improved, earlier detection of acute MI. 2 blood tests are performed 1 or 3 hours apart compared to standard testing (10-12 hours apart), enabling Non-ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction (NSTEMI) to be ruled-out within four hours of presentation to the Emergency Department (ED), as long as test results are available and a clinical decision is made in a timely manner.It is required to be NICE approved. Pregnancy and parenting app, supporting families from conception to age 6 months with practical advice how to manage health and mental well-being during pregnancy to produce the best outcomes for the baby and post birth to give parents practical, reliable and clinically informed advice about how to take care of a baby. The app will have evidence-based, interactive resources advising parents on all aspects of pregnancy health, giving birth, and advice on how to take care of the baby, developed and co-produced with vulnerable parents and healthcare professionals. An app and website which connects Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHP) with Section 12 doctors to make Mental Health Act 1983 (MHA 1983) assessments quicker and easier to organise. The platform should also facilitate claim form creation and submission, and provide data and reporting about every part of the MHA assessment process which is built to link directly to the 5 year forward view. To provide an untethered Patient Held Record (PHR) which enables the user to contribute to information related to their health and care and give access to their information to others, including health and care professionals. The platform should show potential to add value to people’s live and/or improve the management of their health. The PHR should conform to Architectural Principles as stated in the Department for Health and Social Care policy paper (www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-future-of-healthcare-our-vision-for-digital-data-and-technology-in-health-and-care/the-future-of-healthcare-our-vision-for-digital-data-and-technology-in-health-and-care#guiding-principles) and adhere to National standards and initiatives (www.digital.nhs.uk/about-nhs-digital/our-work/nhs-digital-data-and-technology-standards/framework). Applicants must have an existing user base from which they can build their effectiveness evidence from and either be in use in at least 3 different providers, have over 5 000 active users on the platform or, be an integral part of a Global Digital Exemplar (GDE) or Local Health Care record (LHCR) programme. Applicants must be a member of INTEROPen, a collaboration of health care providers, be willing to commit to the TechUK Interoperability Charter principles, commit to completing the Digital Assessment Questionnaire (DAQ) (www.digital.nhs.uk/about-nhs-digital/our-work/nhs-digital-data-and-technology-standards/framework) process within the programme timeline and commit to using NHS log-in for identification.
