This qualification system has been established to create opportunities for improving efficiency and reducing costs throughout the oil and gas industry’s supply chain and provides a source of suppliers and contractors to the subscribing oil and gas industry purchasing entities for selection to participate in procurement procedures regulated by the Directive. The utility entities which subscribe to the qualification system can be found at https://www.achilles.com//app/uploads/2019/01/Buyer-Member-List.pdf Certain subscribing entities give an indication of planned procurement activity, which is available at https://www.achilles.com/communities/fpal-forward-workplan/ The system may also be used by subscribing entities to select suppliers for procurement procedures that are not within the scope of the Directive or otherwise excluded. The system is based on a coding system for works, supplies and services against which suppliers register on the system.
